Event Production Assistant (Intern)

Global Fashion Agenda is looking for a motivated intern to join our Production team. The internship is full-time between February and June 2025

Assignments

The dedicated production team at Global Fashion Agenda handles all aspects of planning and executing our premier events, including the Global Fashion Summit Copenhagen, which is globally recognized as the leading event on sustainability in the fashion industry.

As an intern, you will be a pivotal part in the creation of our Copenhagen Summit taking place on the 4th  and 5th of June 2025. This role will involve extensive planning, coordination, and management, and we are seeking a new team member who is enthusiastic and motivated to take on this challenge.

During your stay, you will gain insight into leading global initiatives within sustainability in the fashion industry as well as hands-on experience with event planning by taking part in all stages of the planning and execution

As Event Production Assistant you will work with tasks involving:

  • Logistics and Planning: This includes coordinating schedules, timelines, and tasks related to the event setup and breakdown.
  • Staff Coordination: Manage summit support crew and support production manager with staff role-list for the event, furthermore, ensure that staff members are aware of their responsibilities and provide support as needed.
  • Documentation: Making- and keeping records of documentation of event logistics, such as schedules, presentation material, proposals etc.
  • Small sponsorships: This will include sourcing, contacting, and closing agreements with smaller backstage sponsorships packages.
  • Event preparation and venue setup: This will involve physical tasks like lifting and moving equipment, managing deliveries, organizing and structuring our storage and other inventory related tasks.
  • Breakdown and Cleanup: After the event you will support the production team, alongside production partners, and the summit support crew with the breakdown and cleanup of the venue, ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly packed and returned to their respective places.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: After the event you should manage summit support crew evaluation, collect feedback, identify areas for improvement and document successes.

What we expect of you …

  • You are a student at a higher educational institution with an interest in developing your professional skills through practical experience.
  • Preferably have a background within event coordination, hospitality, planning or similar
  • Are outgoing, have a high-spirited work attitude, and embrace challenges with a positive mind.
  • Can take initiative, work independently, and take on responsibility for assignments.
  • Can adapt to different work situations and are open to work flexible hours.
  • Very strong English communication skills, both written and spoken as the office language is English
  • Care about sustainability as a successful business driver
