Public Affairs Assistant (Intern)

Global Fashion Agenda is looking for an outgoing and structured intern to support its Public Affairs team. The paid internship begins in January 2025 and lasts for six months (exact dates are flexible to accommodate the feasibility of higher education institutions). The internship will take place at the GFA office in Copenhagen, or remotely.

EU Policy Matrix

As an organisation founded and headquartered in Denmark, our internship policy aligns with the Danish policy whereby students receive ECTS points when carrying out an internship as part of their studies to support their development while they continue to be covered by a Danish study grant during their internship. As such, GFA interns gain an acknowledgement of 3,000 DKK per month with a maximum of 15,000 DKK for internships of 6 months’ duration. While we welcome internship applications from outside of Denmark, the gratuity remains consistent with Danish policy.

Job description

You will assist the Public Affairs Team at Global Fashion Agenda.  At GFA we envision a policy framework where legislative and policy initiatives incentivise and appropriately support the fashion industry to become circular and thus more sustainable. Our goal is to convene and connect relevant policymakers with fashion industry decision-makers in a collaborative effort to effectively accelerate the fashion industry’s sustainability performance. We aim to reach this goal by educating policymakers about the issues at hand and by ensuring policy developments provide support to the industry’s sustainability efforts.

As a Public Affairs Assistant (intern), you will be trusted with areas across the planning and execution of our global policy engagement strategy.

You are…

  • A proactive, self-motivated, outgoing team player who can work independently and take on responsibility for assignments.
