OnceMore® produce high-quality dissolving pulp made of blended textile waste and wood from sustainably managed Swedish forests. OnceMore® is a part of Södra, Sweden’s largest forest owners’ association, which has a world leading industry that processes forest raw material into renewable products.
In 2019, Södra introduced OnceMore®, which has since evolved into the world’s first large-scale process for recycling mixed textiles and has become a key player in the advancement of next-generation materials. By 2022, OnceMore® achieved a significant milestone, producing textile pulp with 20 percent textile waste, a notable increase from the initial 3 percent in 2019. The ambitious goal is to reach 50 percent textile waste.
