Design schools play a crucial role in cultivating responsible designers who understand industry needs, advocate for sustainable practices, and have the skills to implement them effectively.

Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), in collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Parsons School of Design (Parsons), proposes establishing a common understanding of sustainable practices in fashion education, achieved by developing a set of standards to guide design schools within key initiatives such as research, curriculum development and student instruction. Based on collected input from students, designers, and educators, the objective of this Roundtable is to discuss responses from an initial survey and to involve additional stakeholders to shape the future of this work.

The Education Roundtable is invitation-only and attendees must be registered in advance to attend.
