Piloting Solutions for Increased Traceability in Bangladesh Textile Industry

The discussion revolves around case studies from the Switch to Circular Economy Value Chains (SWITCH2CE) project, which supports circular transition across selected global value chains. In Bangladesh, SWITCH2CE supports local suppliers of EU-based multinational fashion brands by providing knowledge and training on sustainable waste management. Additionally, it aids local stakeholders in formalising the waste trade industry.

This panel discussion brings together representatives from the two pilots in Bangladesh, BESTSELLER & H&M, as well as UNIDO, Chatham House, Circle Economy,  BGMEA, Reverse Resources, and Intellecap to discuss how traceability supports sustainability, due diligence and CSRD reporting.

The session welcomes: Mohammad Navid Saifullah, Mark Draeck, Vidiya A. Khan, Alexander Granberg, Real Kamruzzaman, Nin Castle, Somatish Banerji, Camille Tahon, Patrick Schroeder, and Holly Syrett (Moderator).
