Policy Breakfast: Re-Shaping Fashion Industry

Global Fashion Agenda, EURATEX, Finnish Textile & Fashion, Danish Fashion & Textile, and TEKO Swedish Textile & Clothing will be organising a policy breakfast titled ‘Re-Shaping Fashion Industry. Nordic View on the EU Textile Strategy’ on 26 March 2025, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, at the European Parliament.

Hosted by Members of Parliament Sirpa Pietikäinen and Rasmus Nordqvist, the event aims to bridge the knowledge gap between the textile industry and policymakers, supporting informed decision-making by providing insights into the complexities of textile value chains, the industry’s sustainability efforts, and the opportunities for smart, cohesive regulation. Featuring an intervention from MEP Paulo Cunha and insights from several Nordic industry organisations, the meeting will engage newly elected policymakers, offering them a comprehensive overview of key industry challenges and the regulatory landscape shaping the sector.
