The search for The Earthshot Prize 2024 winners has officially begun, and Global Fashion Agenda is proud to continue its role as an Official Nominator.

GFA and the Earthshot Prize

As an Official Nominator for third year in a row, our continued collaboration with the Earthshot Prize has sparked the necessary momentum for the vital changes our world so urgently needs.

Earlier this year, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting Hannah Jones, the CEO of the Earthshot Prize, at the Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2023. Her presence provided invaluable insights into how this ambitious global prize effectively incentivises innovation and fuels the transformative change needed to repair our planet.

Hannah Jones CEO, The Earthshot Prize, at the Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2023
"We are on a mission to find and accelerate solutions and scale them. And in doing so, to spark the world's imagination, by telling the stories, not of what is lost, but of what is possible, of what is potential."

After joining the expert cohort of Nominators last year, one of our nominated Innovation Forum Solution Providers now stands as a distinguished finalist for this year’s prestigious award.

We are now seeking input from our extensive sustainability network to help us find the next potential winners of the Earthshot Prize 2024.

We will be nominating individuals, communities, businesses and organisations whose solutions make the most progress towards achieving the five Earthshots – simple but ambitious goals which, if achieved by 2030, will improve life for us all and the generations to come.

The Earthshot Prize will consider solutions which make tangible progress towards one of the five Earthshots: Protect and Restore Nature, Clean our Air, Revive our Oceans, Build a Waste-Free World, Fix our Climate.

Get Involved

People or teams with inspiring, inclusive and impactful solutions can submit their initiatives to GFA for consideration by filling in details via the button below. GFA will be accepting proposals until 17 November 2023.

Important considerations to bear in mind before submitting your solution to us:

  1. Your solution should be beyond idea stage
  2. Should have been tested in-field or with target audiences
  3. Is nearing a ‘tipping point’ for scaling its impact within the next five years

For more information about what The Earthshot Prize looks for in their nominees, please read the new 2023 Roadmap.

The Process

GFA will review all suggestions and contact those that they potentially wish to nominate. We believe that with your help we can identify the most promising solutions for a better tomorrow. After GFA submits its nominations, the solutions are screened as part of a rigorous assessment process culminating in selection of five winners by the Earthshot Prize Council.
