Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), the non-profit organisation accelerating the transition to a net-positive fashion industry, welcomes LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton to its Strategic Partner group. Through this partnership, LVMH will collaborate with industry peers to scale solutions on biodiversity, climate, transparency, and circularity across the global fashion ecosystem.

GFA strives to accelerate action by mobilising, influencing, inspiring and educating the industry. To do so, the organisation produces authoritative thought leadership, educational resources, and leading events, including the landmark forum Global Fashion Summit. The Summit is the nexus for agenda-setting discussions and productive meetings on the most critical environmental and social issues facing the fashion industry, and showcases solutions to unlock change through its Innovation Forum. Moreover, GFA’s advocacy and impact programmes are designed to implement collective and cross-sectoral action on critical areas including circularity, decarbonisation, social equity and climate adaptation – priorities that no organisation or actor can tackle alone.

In the organisation’s effort to foster collaboration across the entire fashion ecosystem to drive change, GFA brings together influential companies representing a range of fashion sectors that have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing sustainability. Strategic Partners work alongside other critical value chain stakeholders to contribute insights and exchange learnings that support GFA’s work.

LVMH adds to existing luxury representatives within GFA, such as Ralph Lauren, Kering and CHANEL.  Kering has supported GFA for several years to advance innovation, improve social equity, and protect biodiversity, among other initiatives. CHANEL joined the initiative in 2024, asserting its Strategic Partnership within GFA by introducing the critical issue of climate change adaptation and mobilising brands and public stakeholders around water-related risks in European supply chains.

“We are delighted to welcome LVMH as a Partner. GFA’s efforts strongly complement the ambitious LVMH LIFE 360 roadmap, and their influential voice will add to the stalwart expertise of our existing Partners,” said Federica Marchionni, CEO of Global Fashion Agenda. “All of our partners are unique, yet they face common challenges and GFA mobilises industry stakeholders to take concrete steps in a bid to improve their sustainability performance. We create alliances for a new era since pre-competitive collaborations are essential to support our vision of a net positive industry, and we are proud to convene such an esteemed group of Strategic Partners to accelerate impact.”

“LVMH is proud to join the Global Fashion Agenda as a Strategic Partner, since it is a powerful lever for our collective work towards a fair and successful environmental transition,” said Hélène Valade, Director of Environmental Development of LVMH. “We are convinced that concrete collaboration and cooperation across the industry are essential to advancing environmental efforts : Joining Forces is both a motto and an action program at LVMH.”

The luxury conglomerate joins GFA’s longstanding Strategic Partners, including Kering, CHANEL, Ralph Lauren Corporation, NIKE, H&M Group, BESTSELLER and Target.

The partnership was unveiled during Climate Week NYC. GFA is contributing to the global dialogue throughout the week by facilitating a range of events focused on accelerating fashion’s transformation, including roundtable meetings, masterclasses and innovation networking sessions.
