Earlier this year, we were pleased to welcome PUMA to Global Fashion Agenda’s Associate Partner group.

Our Associate Partners are a group of select companies who are sustainability leaders or have the aspiration to improve their sustainability performance, representing companies of varying size, segment and geographies. They provide valuable feedback and input into the content developed by Global Fashion Agenda. The company joins our existing Associate Partners: allbirds, ERDOS Group, GANNI, TAL Apparel, Vestiaire Collective and Zalando.

PUMA enters the new Associate Partnership as one of the world’s leading sports brands, designing, developing, selling and marketing footwear, apparel and accessories. For more than 70 years, PUMA has relentlessly pushed sport and culture. PUMA offers performance and sport-inspired lifestyle products in categories such as Football, Running and Training, Basketball, Golf, and Motorsports. It collaborates with renowned designers and brands to bring sport influences into street culture and fashion.

Stefan Seidel, Senior Head of Corporate Sustainability, PUMA, joined us in June for Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2022. During the event, Seidel participated in the case study: ‘ESG Policy Requirements: Using data to prepare for the new era of carbon disclosure’. During this discussion, Seidel shared how the teams have created an impact-driven culture throughout PUMA towards a net-positive industry.

Anne-Laure Descours Chief Sourcing Officer, PUMA
"PUMA’s sustainability strategy is about creating maximum positive impact. In an industry where many suppliers are shared among brands, we cannot do it alone. Therefore, we are working together with our industry peers to set common sustainability standards and improve the supply chain together. Collaboration is key. We believe that through the Global Fashion Agenda, we found the right platform to accelerate collaboration by focusing on challenging topics and having honest discussions with different stakeholder such as peers, suppliers, NGOs, and experts. Dialogue and collaboration bring innovative solutions."
Federica Marchionni CEO, Global Fashion Agenda
"I am glad to welcome PUMA to our Associate Partner Group. Global Fashion Agenda recognises PUMA’s dedication towards improving its sustainability performance and collectively improving the supply chain. Through this alliance, we will exchange insights to create even more impact in the pursuit of a net-positive fashion industry."
