Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) is a non-profit organisation that fosters industry collaboration on sustainability in fashion to accelerate impact.

GFA values are empowerment, fellowship, and ingenuity. These values are used as guiding pillars for our work projects and are brought to life in our internal culture and work ethic. Global Fashion Agenda is an international team with headquarters in Copenhagen and team members spread out around the globe, with English as the office language.

    Chief Executive Officer

    Federica Marchionni is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Global Fashion Agenda (GFA). Founded in Denmark, GFA is a non-profit organisation with the ultimate vision to create a net positive fashion industry for the people and the planet across entire eco-system. Before joining GFA, Marchionni attained leadership roles in Europe, USA, and China. During the e-commerce expansion, Marchionni took a role as International CEO of Secoo, a Chinese e-commerce retailer in China. Prior to this, Marchionni was CEO and Board Director at Lands’ End and President of Dolce&Gabbana Inc., based in America. Before moving to the States, Marchionni worked as SVP at Ferrari HQ in Italy. Her career began in the early stage of the telecommunication industry, working for global players such as Samsung, Philips, and Ericsson. She is a guest speaker at high-caliber conferences and top academic institutions including Harvard University and Stanford University, Financial Times, Fortune and COP. Marchionni graduated from La Sapienza University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a thesis in the mobility business.

    Lennart Bernhoft is the Chief Operating Officer at Global Fashion Agenda, where he plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and guiding the organisation’s strategic direction towards a positive impact in the fashion industry. With over 20 years of executive experience in consumer goods and apparel, Bernhoft has a strong focus on supply chain and operations. Before joining GFA, he held key leadership roles, including Head of Operations at Theis Vine, COO and Co-Founder of Projectkin, COO of Design Letters, and CEO of Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen. His extensive international experience includes seven years in China, India, and Southeast Asia, where he worked on building sustainable supply chains for companies such as IC Group. Bernhoft also served as Sourcing Director for VF Corporation in Belgium, focusing on sustainable sourcing and operational efficiency. With extensive industry knowledge and a global perspective, Bernhoft is a regular speaker at conferences and an advisor on sustainable operations, known for his practical approach to addressing complex challenges in transforming the fashion supply chain.

    Chief Sustainability Officer

    Justin Pariag is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Global Fashion Agenda where he focuses on further aligning the GFA’s strategic priorities with the development and execution of impact programmes. He will also oversee the publication of GFA’s trusted thought leadership and educational resources. Central to his work, he will ensure strategic engagement with key industry stakeholders and partners throughout the fashion value chain to encourage and mobilize the industry towards a net positive future. Pariag brings over 14 years of sustainability experience in global and regional roles across fashion brands, groups and retailers, offering a well-rounded perspective on sustainability and business strategy. He was formerly Global Senior Director of Sustainable Business Strategy & Director of Sustainable Product, Tommy Hilfiger Global & PVH Europe. He was also VP of Sustainable Business for the Dutch department store De Bijenkorf – part of the Selfridges Group. With qualifications in environmental science, policy and management, he will contribute his strong experience in establishing climate and circularity roadmaps for global brands and retailers.

    Director of Communications & Chief of Staff

    Alice Roberta Taylor is Chief of Staff at Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) which is a non-profit organisation that mobilises, educates and inspires the industry to improve its sustainability performance. In her role she works closely with the leadership team on strategic project delivery and stakeholder management. She also leads communications for GFA - working to raise awareness about the organisation’s initiatives and communicate its vision of a net positive fashion industry. Taylor has a combination of in-house and agency communications experience related to fashion, sustainability, media and retail. She first joined GFA in 2019. Prior to this, she managed the publicity for Hearst UK in London for established media brands including ELLE UK and Harper’s Bazaar. She also managed the PR for multiple retail and hospitality clients at Stripe Communications and led the PR for the renowned fundraising campaign Run For Heroes. She holds an MA (Hons) in History from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

    Christina Iskov is the Director of Impact at Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), where she has been for a decade, overseeing various teams and responsibilities. She leads the Impact Team, developing sustainability and impact programmes alongside thought leadership publications. Iskov holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Copenhagen Business School and a Master’s degree in Design Management from the Danish Design School Kolding, where she wrote her thesis on GFA’s position in the fashion industry.

    Dana Schou

    VP, Partnerships & Development

    Dana Schou is VP, Partnerships & Development at Global Fashion Agenda, the foremost leadership forum for industry collaboration on sustainability in fashion. In her role, Schou leads the organisation’s development strategy to mobilise and guide industry leaders to take bold and urgent action on sustainability. Schou has experience in collaborating with foundations, philanthropists and corporations on strategic programmes and partnerships. Formerly a Director within the Partnerships and Philanthropy Directorate at the United Nations Children Fund, Schou spent 10 years in global marketing and communications for numerous Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy (LVMH) brands. She is passionate about bringing people and organisations together to create change. Schou sits on several non-profit boards focusing on female empowerment topics such as maternal health and microfinance. She is a speaker, facilitator, assessor and ambassador at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and has lectured at ESSEC, IE Business School and University of Geneva on sustainability communications, cause marketing, gender equality and cross-sector partnerships.

    Director of Content

    Faith Robinson is Director of Content at Global Fashion Agenda. After working internationally in the creative industries for a decade, she has developed a reputation for carefully mediating different approaches to sustainability in the context of the global fashion industry. Robinson got started in research with London-based trends intelligence business Stylus before moving to Copenhagen in 2018. Alongside a fascinating breadth of cultural consultancy, she has collaborated with Global Fashion Agenda since then and joined her now permanent role in January 2023. Separately, Robinson has worked on special projects as a business, non-profit, education and governmental advisor. Following an Art History BA, she is a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts and a member within a number of sustainable fashion industry research networks, editorial boards and mentorship programmes.

    VP, Public Affairs

    María Luisa Martínez Díez is VP, Public Affairs at Global Fashion Agenda. She is responsible for strengthening, developing, and executing GFA’s Policy Engagement Strategy. Her responsibilities are to ensure strategic engagement with relevant stakeholders and develop partnerships with key organisations. She also leads the partnership with the Policy Hub-Circularity for Apparel and Footwear. Martínez Díez is also a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition´s Strategic Council on Stakeholder Engagement. Martínez Díez joined Global Fashion Agenda as Senior Public Affairs Manager in September 2019. She holds a Master’s degree in EU politics and law from Sciences Po Paris and brings over 10 years of experience in Public Affairs first in Paris. Then in Brussels where she worked at namely the European Commission, the Regional Office of Madrid and the Brussels-based consultancy EURALIA where she was leading the agri-consumers department working in the fields of circular economy and sustainability in the supply chains including the fashion and food industries.

    Director of Events & Operation

    Signe Sidenius Duus is Director of Events & Operations at Global Fashion Agenda (GFA). She is responsible for leading the planning and execution of all production-related aspects of Global Fashion Summit, and other events delivered by the company. Duus has been producing events and conferences within the culture, interior, and fashion industry since completing her studies in 2016/17. Duus first joined the GFA team in 2016, and alongside her roles in the production team, Duus, a former dancer, helped to ensure that the GFA team looked great when dancing on the Summit stage in 2019.

    Alexandra Gora is the Communications Coordinator at Global Fashion Agenda. She holds a BSc in Business, Language, and Culture with a concentration in French from Copenhagen Business School and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Business and Development Studies. Gora is driven by a deep-seated passion for reshaping the fashion industry into a force for positive change, with a particular focus on empowering communities in the Global South. With experience in content creation, event support and marketing, gained from both in-house and agency experiences, she supports to the Communications team, handling PR and editorial tasks.

    Impact Programme Manager

    Camilla Morandi is an Impact Programme Manager at Global Fashion Agenda, responsible for developing and coordinating impact programmes such as the Renewable Energy Initiative (REI), the Gender Pay Gap Programme (GPGP) and the Circular Fashion Partnerships (CFP). Her responsibilities also include implementing effective management processes, actively engaging industry stakeholders and managing grants. Prior to joining Global Fashion Agenda, Morandi worked as sustainability consultant to drive various companies’ sustainability strategy. Driven by her passion for the fashion industry and the urgency of sustainability action, she dedicated years to working in the industry, managing environmental and gender equality projects in luxury and premium fashion brands Bottega Veneta and Scotch & Soda. Morandi holds a Master’s Degree in International Development Studies, with international experience researching the Indian textile sector.

    Camilla Tamburini is the Public Affairs Manager at Global Fashion Agenda. Her responsibilities include managing and supporting the planning and execution of policy activities, co-developing content for the Global Fashion Summit programme, and researching and providing recommendations on key policies impacting textiles. In addition, Tamburini also supports PR and strategic communications efforts, translating complex political and legislative initiatives impacting fashion sustainability, and building relationships with government officials, trade associations, NGOs, and other influential organisations to anticipate risks and opportunities. Before joining GFA, Tamburini worked as an Account Manager at Kreab, a public affairs consultancy in Brussels, where she focused on sustainable textiles and circular economy policies at the EU level. Prior to that, she held sustainability-related roles at Unilever and Mixcycling, a start-up developing biobased materials. Tamburini also holds a specialised master’s degree in Green Management, Energy, and Corporate Social Responsibility from Bocconi University.

    Senior Communications Manager

    Constance Beswick is Senior Communications Manager at Global Fashion Agenda, where she oversees PR and editorial activities to elevate the organisation’s global profile and drive impactful storytelling on sustainable fashion. Since joining GFA in January 2021, Beswick has crafted communications strategies that engage diverse audiences and support the industry’s transition towards a net positive future. She holds an MA (Hons) in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh, where her dissertation focused on Intersectional Environmentalism. Prior to joining GFA, Beswick gained experience in sustainability through freelance journalism, work at an agricultural consultancy, and collaboration with a global sustainability advisory firm to explore the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in business contexts. Deeply committed to the power of narrative to inspire change, Beswick strives to advance a socially and environmentally just fashion industry through her strategic PR and editorial work at Global Fashion Agenda.

    Event Project Manager

    Ditte Schirmer joined Global Fashion Agenda in February 2023 as Event Project Manager. As part of the Production Team, Schirmer supports all efforts related to Global Fashion Agenda’s series of Global Fashion Summits, including additional side events and hospitality co-ordination. With a background in marketing, Schirmer's extensive production experience spans a wide range of media: from international campaign direction to event and photoshoot management. Most recently, she worked on a critically acclaimed documentary series for Danish television. Schirmer's strength is her ability to master many different tasks at once - while securing the overall idea and identity of a project.

    Diyara Ussenova is the Innovation Assistant at Global Fashion Agenda, where she supports the Innovation Forum and Trailblazer Programme, fostering collaboration between pioneering start-ups and industry leaders to accelerate sustainable innovation in fashion. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Global and Development Studies, Diyara brings an international perspective shaped by her experience with the NGO Slow Fashion Movement, youth leadership programmes, and cross-cultural understandings across Europe and Central Asia. By believing that fashion reflects the social and environmental realities of our time, she is passionate about bridging creativity, inclusivity, and sustainability to reimagine a more conscious global fashion system.

    Senior Innovation Programme Manager

    Ellie Savage is the Senior Innovation Programme Manager at Global Fashion Agenda (GFA). In her role she leads GFA’s Innovation Forum, working to drive strategic development and programming of innovation concepts. Fashion sustainability is a passion of hers and she uses her knowledge of the industry to drive change and aims to provide practical action. Savage joined GFA in April 2021 as Digital communications Manager and has a background in fashion and technology. She started her career in buying, working for two high street brands in the UK. Then worked at a technology start-up and gained professional marketing qualifications. Most recently she ran a marketing department at Unmade (a fashion technology start-up) and then ran communications on an EU-funded textile recycling project (New Cotton Project) at Fashion for Good in Amsterdam. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion at Northampton University, UK, and a Professional Marketing Diploma, from the Chartered Institute of Marketers, UK.

    Emily Cornwell is a Sustainability Assistant at Global Fashion Agenda supporting the Impact team and GFA's publications. She is a recent graduate from the University of Copenhagen with a Masters degree in Climate Change, specialising in Impacts, Adaptation and Mitigation with research interests that focus on transformative change and justice within the broad field of political ecology. In addition to her academic work, she has experience working in project management and sustainability consulting. In her recent studies and projects, she discovered a passion for sustainability within the fashion industry, where she is driven to find solutions that centre equity.

    Felicity Lammas is the Senior Sustainability Manager at Global Fashion Agenda. Her responsibilities largely sit with Global Fashion Agenda’s core publications; the Fashion CEO Agenda and GFA Monitor, in research, key stakeholder engagement and co-authoring. Most recently Lammas led coordination of the Fashion Industry Target Consultation together with the UN Environment Programme and previously on the 2020 Circular Fashion System Commitment. Before joining Global Fashion Agenda in June 2020, Lammas has experience at online retailer; ASOS working across Product Integrity, Circular Economy and Supply Chain teams, and holds a BA in Fashion Marketing from University of Leeds, United Kingdom.

Using her experience in graphic design and motion design, she supports GFA’s digital communications and storytelling through social media content, and overseeing visual design in various projects. Pamungkas is passionate about using creative skills to support initiatives that catalyse progressive change, and prior to joining GFA in January 2021, she worked with Danish organization Sex & Samfund (“Sex & Society”, ed.) Pamungkas holds a BA in Graphic Design from IED Madrid, Spain, and an MA in Communication Studies and Cultural Encounters from Roskilde University, Denmark.

    Francesca Girelli is the Impact Programme Operations Coordinator at Global Fashion Agenda. She holds a Bachelor in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University and a double degree with an MSc in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and a CEMS Master in Management. Girelli has gained international experience by studying in Italy, Denmark, Canada and Singapore. Her interest in pursuing a sustainability career is the reason she moved to Copenhagen, where she previously worked in business development at Avista Green, fostering circularity in the oil industry. In her master thesis she researched about the barriers to commercialization for sustainable textile startups in apparel, which deepened her interest in contributing to sustainability in the fashion sector.     Greta Peetre is the Multimedia Coordinator at Global Fashion Agenda. With a background in graphic and concept design, she supports GFA’s marketing efforts across various channels. Peetre holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Management in Media from Malmö University and a degree in Public Relations from Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm. Peetre has a passion for sustainable fashion and has gained experience in the field through diverse roles. She has worked in the secondhand market, contributed to the startup of a sustainable bag brand, and worked in marketing for new sustainable clothing technologies.

    Helena Bauer is the Programme Coordinator at Global Fashion Agenda. She has been with the organisation for over 1.5 years, initially supporting the set-up and execution of the Innovation Forum. Bauer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion and Design Management from AMD Akademie für Mode und Design, having studied in Hamburg, Munich, and New York. Her academic thesis focused on the environmental and psychological impacts of overconsumption. Prior to joining GFA, she gained professional experience in the fashion industry, working in E-Commerce and Wholesaleroles.

    Julia Ricketts is the Public Affairs Assistant at Global Fashion Agenda. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics, where her thesis explored competitiveness challenges in the implementation of EU circular textile policies. Before joining GFA, Julia gained experience at the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry in Brussels, supporting the sustainability policy team on circular economy and due diligence policies at the EU level.

    Julia Signore is the Partnerships and Development Manager at Global Fashion Agenda. In her role, she cultivates and manages relationships with GFA's partners, while driving the organisation's strategic efforts by encouraging industry stakeholders to actively engage in sustainability initiatives. Signore also takes an active role in GFA's Innovation Forum, where she partners with cutting-edge solution providers from across the entire supply chain. Signore holds a BA in International Business and an MA in Fashion Sustainability and has international experience from working and studying in Germany, Italy, Finland and Denmark. Signore is dedicated to fostering meaningful, long-term change within the fashion industry, driving it toward a more responsible and forward-thinking future.

    Léa Mocheff is the Public Affairs Coordinator at Global Fashion Agenda. Since joining the team in January 2024, she actively contributes to the Public Affairs team's activities across various operations. Prior to her current role at GFA, she gained valuable experience as an apprentice at the Confederation of European Yeast Producers while pursuing a Master's degree specialised in European Public Affairs at Paris Dauphine University. Mocheff’s academic journey also includes a Bachelor's degree in European Law and a Master's degree in Public International Law.

    Maria Samsøe-Schmidt is the Programme Manager at Global Fashion Agenda. In her role she leads projects that aims to educate, inspire and mobilise sustainable action, such as the Next Gen Assembly, and supports the strategic development of GFA Academy & Innovation programmes. Samsøe has worked with business development in the creative industries since 2017 where she began her career at Danish Fashion Institute before moving into stakeholder management of global partnerships at GFA. Samsøe also has several years of managing the matchmaking programme and innovator engagement and has a special interest in cultivating interdisciplinary dialogues to mobilise the circular economy. Samsøe holds a Master’s in Management of Creative Business Processes, a BA in Intercultural Marketing Communication and an AP in Global Entrepreneurship, Design & Logistics.

    Marta Inchausti Moya is the Public Affairs Manager at Global Fashion Agenda. Her responsibilities include managing and supporting the planning and execution of policy activities, co-developing content for the Global Fashion Summit program, and researching and providing recommendations on key policies impacting textiles. In addition, Inchausti also supports PR and strategic communications efforts, translating complex political and legislative initiatives impacting fashion sustainability, and building relationships with government officials, trade associations, NGOs, and other influential organisations to anticipate risks and opportunities. Before joining Global Fashion Agenda, she worked as a Public Affairs Consultant for Vinces Consulting and as an EU Policy Advisor for the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Brussels. Finally, Inchausti holds an LL.M. in European and International Business Law from Leiden University and a dual degree in Law and International Relations from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, ICADE.

    Nita Krasniqi is the Education Assistant at GFA. Originally from Kosovo, Krasniqi is currently also an Erasmus Mundus master’s student in global markets and creative industries, with a focus on fashion innovation and sustainability. She is passionate about sustainability, innovation, and the messy space where strategy meets creativity, and is drawn to projects that rethink how we live, create, and connect. Krasniqi has previous work experience within research, business development, and project management across Europe, Asia, and US.

    Financial Controller

    Philip Maruszewicz is the Financial Controller at Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), where he oversees day-to-day finances and management accounting. He is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and controlling, while also supporting the organization in decision-making based on financial insights. Maruszewicz joined Global Fashion Agenda in January 2025, bringing 14 years of experience in finance, strategy, and business development. Before joining GFA, he worked for several years as a managing director in the travel industry, an interim CFO at Heywaitr, and as a consultant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Management of Innovation and Business Development, both from Copenhagen Business School.

    Partnerships Assistant

    Polona Cebular is the Partnerships Assistant at Global Fashion Agenda, where she supports the Partnerships and Development team in securing and managing strategic sponsorships for the Global Fashion Summit. Currently completing an MA in Public Relations at the University of Ljubljana, her thesis explores consumer–brand identification with a focus on influencer-founded brands and digital communities. Cebular holds a BA in PR & Marketing Communications, complemented by studies on CSR, fashion media, and management of fashion and luxury companies.     Sonia Hylling is the Impact Programme Manager at Global Fashion Agenda; her role is to develop further and coordinate GFA's impact programs, such as the Renewable Energy Initiative (REI), Gender Pay Gap Programme (GPGP) and Circular Fashion Partnerships (CFP). Furthermore, her responsibilities extend to implementing effective management processes, monitoring partner relationships, and ensuring impactful stakeholder management. Prior to joining Global Fashion Agenda, Hylling gained expertise in strategic projects across various environments, ranging from luxury fashion brands to startups and NGOs with a focus on circularity and sustainable supply chains. Hylling holds a master's degree in luxury fashion management and has international experience from living and working in Paris, New York, and Stockholm.

    Sanjana Chopra is an experienced strategist in the fashion industry with over eight years of experience giving her an in-depth understanding on the fashion business supply chains. She has a proven track record of defining new business and product strategies, launching strategic partnerships and delivering both revenue and impact. Her journey to becoming a global professional in the industry first began in Paris with a successful global runway fashion brand showcasing at Paris Fashion Week and managed sales distribution for over 200+ premium segment retailers worldwide. She carried forward her lessons from the broader International markets to work for Fashion Design Council of India, a not-for profit organisation and eventually progressed into her entrepreneurial journey based in New Delhi as a strategic consultant to Indian Fashion Brands such as Suket Dhir, winner of International Woolmark Prize Menswear 2016. Over the years, she has worked within the sales and marketing for International Fashion brands showcasing at International Fashion Weeks (France, Denmark, Japan, China, USA, Qatar and India). Chopra is a graduate of the University of Delhi, India, where she earned an honors degree in Sociology from Lady Shri Ram College for women and ESMOD Paris, France, where she earned her master’s degree in Management and Marketing in Fashion & Arts.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Branding and Marketing Management from VIA Design & Business in Denmark. Christoffersen has a deep-rooted passion for digital storytelling and amplifying meaningful voices, which has led her to international internships, including one at Vogue Philippines. She specialises in social media management, content creation, communication, and fashion production, and she contributes to the social media content for Global Fashion Agenda.

    Tess Fressonnet is the Commercial Manager at Global Fashion Agenda, where she oversees the development and management of strategic sponsorships. She drives lead generation efforts, sponsor engagement, and ensures alignment across partnerships for key initiatives such as the Global Fashion Summit. Before joining GFA in 2024, Fressonnet built a successful career in sales development at VMware, progressing from a Sales Graduate to Corporate Account Executive. She has also played a pivotal role in sustainable fashion projects, including her work with Subwae Studios in Ghana, a brand focused on upcycling and responsible sourcing. This partnership has deepened her understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to textile waste in the Global South. Fressonnet holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from IE Business School, where she researched the role of second-hand fashion in the circular economy. Her international experience spans Paris, Madrid, Zurich, and Barcelona, giving her a global perspective on sustainability. Passionate about responsible consumption and climate-conscious practices, Fressonnet is particularly interested in leveraging new technologies to drive sustainable innovation.
