Job description
As Education Assistant, you will contribute to shaping and delivering impactful education initiatives that inspire and equip the next generation of leaders and current industry professionals with knowledge and tools for transformation. This includes supporting innovative youth programmes, developing learning formats, and helping grow our reach and impact through the GFA Academy.
Assignments
- Supporting the planning, content development, and delivery of GFA Academy learning experiences and formats such as masterclasses and tailored resources.
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of GFA’s youth-advocacy programme Next Gen Assembly, including stakeholder engagement and preparing programme materials
- Contributing to research and project development linked to sustainability education, advocacy, and capacity-building across the fashion value chain.
- Track emerging trends and developments in education and sustainability, helping the team shape relevant, forward-looking offerings in alignment with GFA’s strategy
- Assisting communication with education partners, collaborators, and stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional updates across our initiatives.
- Helping maintaining project materials, resources and databases
- Support the Education Team with any ad hoc duties and internal administration support
- Assist with office tasks together with the organisation’s other interns
What we expect from you
- You are currently enrolled in a higher educational institution (Bachelor’s or Master’s) with an interest in developing your professional skills through practical experience
- You have a strong passion for sustainability, education and fashion, and are eager to contribute to real-world impact.
- You bring a solid understanding of sustainability topics within the fashion sector, including the curiosity to advance sustainability education and accessibility hereof across the fashion system.
- You have research experience with an analytical approach to synthesizing information
- You can take initiative, work independently, and take on responsibility for assignments
- You are extremely organised with high attention to detail and able to multi-task
- You have flawless English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally some project management tools
- You are a proactive team player who is enthusiastic and sociable with a positive outlook.

- As an organisation founded and headquartered in Denmark, our internship policy aligns with the Danish policy whereby students receive ECTS points when carrying out an internship as part of their studies to support their development while they continue to be covered by a Danish study grant during their internship. As such, GFA interns gain an acknowledgement of a maximum of 3,000 DKK per month of the internship, which they receive at the end of the internship period. While we welcome internship applications from outside of Denmark, the gratuity remains consistent with Danish policy.

Job Description
Global Fashion Agenda is looking for an enthusiastic and structured intern to support the partnerships team across both partnerships and sponsorship activities. This is a full-time internship, beginning August 2024 and lasting for six months, with the potential to extend.
You will assist the Partnerships team which is responsible for securing funding for Global Fashion Agenda initiatives, including its thought leadership publications, impact initiatives and the leading international event on sustainability in fashion, Global Fashion Summit. As Partnerships Intern, you will have a specific focus on supporting the management and prospecting of Global Fashion Agenda’s partners and network. You will assist the team in finding sales leads for its initiatives and events throughout the year. You will work with a team of fundraisers and will help execute the partnership strategy.

- Research potential partners and sponsors
- Reach out to prospects with cold emailing and cold calling
- Assist in proposal writing, editing, and sending out proposals
- Maintain the CRM database with prospects and partners
- Assist Partnerships team and Executive team in daily management of partners and sponsors
- Coordination with the wider GFA team on partnerships and sponsorships related tasks
- Assist with office tasks together with the organisation’s other interns and student workers
- Support the team in any ad hoc duties and internal administration support
Attributes

- Map relevant industry case studies to include in our publications
- Assist the coordination of online meetings, events, launches related to Impact team activities
- Keep the team updated on the latest industry movements, new reports, key stakeholder activities of relevance to our workstreams
- Research possible other thought leadership avenues and formats to best inspire and mobilise industry action
- Manage the team’s mailbox
- Support the team in any ad hoc duties and internal administration support

Global Fashion Agenda is looking for an enthusiastic and structured intern to support the Communications Team across both digital communications and PR activities. This is a full-time internship, starting in mid-August 2025 and lasting for 4-6 months.
Job Description
You will assist the Communications Team which is responsible for communicating all Global Fashion Agenda initiatives, including its thought leadership publications, impact initiatives and the leading international forum on sustainability in fashion, Global Fashion Summit. As Communications Intern, you will have a specific focus on supporting the PR activities whilst also assisting the team with writing tasks and general communications activities.
Assignments
- Assist with media outreach and pitching
- Support incoming press requests
- Maintain the press database and coverage reporting
- Help to research and write articles for the GFA website on key sustainability topics and news
- Support the creation of newsletters – drafting texts, selecting images, setting up the newsletter in MailChimp
- Assist with uploading content to web and website graphics (sections: news, employee profiles, press, speakers/ advisers etc.)
- Support community management on social media
- Support the Digital Communications coordinator in content capture for GFA social media platforms
- Support the team in any ad hoc duties and internal administration support
- Assist with office tasks together with the organisation’s other interns
What we expect of you

- Knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign is a plus
