Hyosung delivers advanced recycled, functional, and bio-based materials that support brands in meeting their sustainability goals. In line with its commitment to reach net zero by 2050, Hyosung is aiming to develop the world’s first fully integrated bio-based spandex production in Vietnam in partnership with Geno. Set to open in Q2 2026, Hyosung will produce materials using sugarcane-derived BIO BDO, reflecting their ongoing efforts in more sustainable manufacturing, including using recycled nylon from discarded fishing nets at its Vietnam facilities. Hyosung is further advancing circularity by developing textile-to-textile recycled polyester to help to close the loop in the fashion industry.
