In collaboration with Closed Loop Fashion, Circle Economy, and Reverse Resources, Global Fashion Agenda, together with GIZ, has released the Sustainability Recommendation Paper on “Promoting Textile Waste Management and Recycling in the Garment, Footwear, and Travel Goods (GFT) Sector.” Supported by the H&M Foundation, this report provides strategic guidance aimed at advancing a sustainable, circular future for the sector.

This report offers clear recommendations for advancing circular practices, aligning with EU sustainability directives, and supporting policy improvements, with actionable insights for government, industry, and waste management stakeholders to transform textile waste into a resource.
