Our goal is to offer a holistic perspective on the current policy initiatives in place, in development, or upcoming, which address critical sustainability and social issues within the fashion industry.

The GFA Policy Matrix: Asia currently focuses on policy initiatives in eight manufacturing countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, The People’s Republic of China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Vietnam, as they represent a significant share of the region’s textile and garment production and play a key role in global supply chains, making their policy environments particularly influential for sustainability outcomes.
