Global Circular Fashion Forum
The Global Circular Fashion Forum (GCFF) is a global initiative that is being established by Global Fashion Agenda to spur local action in textile manufacturing countries to accelerate and scale recycling of post-industrial textile waste –an effort to achieve a long-term, scalable, and just transition to a circular fashion industry.
Renewable Energy Initiative
Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and international fashion companies BESTSELLER and H&M Group announce their intention to develop the first offshore wind project in Bangladesh, a project with the potential to significantly increase the availability of renewable energy in one of the fashion industry’s most important manufacturing countries.
Next Gen Assembly
The Next Gen Assembly brings together the next generation of industry leaders in an impactful advocacy programme. Through strategic guidance and industry engagement, GFA cultivates members’ thought leadership, amplifies their voices, and creates opportunities to influence industry discourse and challenge existing paradigms.
Fashion Industry Target Consultation
The Fashion Industry Target Consultation was a multi-stakeholder project led by Global Fashion Agenda and the United Nations Environment Programme between 2022-2024. The objective was to annually measure industry-wide progress against key milestones that the industry must strive to meet in order to achieve a net-positive fashion industry.
LEARN more
We at GFA, recognise the profound impact and influence of the apparel and textile industry and are working to transform it into a positive force, rather than a negative one.
We envision a net positive industry for people and the planet that puts back more into society, the environment, and the global economy than it takes out.
